What is this all about?!?
http://www.harrisinteractive.com/harris_poll/index.asp?PID=684
Looking at that poll taken recently it says to me that while the U.S. and other countries have not found any weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, amazingly more U.S. adults (50%) think that Iraq had such weapons when the U.S. invaded Iraq.
Obviously the months of misinformation leading up to the invasion take even longer to be dispelled from the minds of the masses.
This to me seems a huge increase from the 36 percent in February 2005. Does everyone only watch Fox news?!? Who is feeding the population this crap?
Even Bush has been forced to admit his administration’s number one justification for attacking Iraq was wrong.
There were no weapons of mass destruction.
The News is there for one reason alone… To give us facts.
If this is really the opinion of 50% we need to worry about the possibility this is going to seep into the history books.
Yeah, I mentioned this sad fact in my last podcast.
Worse, many people cannot name the year 9/11 occurred.
We have way too many Fox News watchers in the U.S.
Honestly, here in the US we have to be somewhat satisfied that at least 50% still DO know what is going on.
Just trying to hold on to some sort of positive outlook for my own sanity.

That’s big, BIG hype!
I wouldn’t assume that 50% know what’s going on though. I think most of that other 50% who know there were no WMDs think it’s just fine that we invaded to bring ‘freedom and liberty’ to those poor subjugated people.
If 50% think there are still WMDs and most of the other 50% think it’s just fine we invaded Iraq, then who’s against the war? I thought all the polls say that a majority of people here now think the war was a mistake. I guess we’ll have a better idea after the elections. The problem is if the republicans have their way, the elections will be a referendum on the war on terror and security and not on Iraq. Which brings us back to the London “plot” stealing the headlines
from somewhat of a mini referendum on Iraq in Connecticutt with Lieberman’s defeat.
