Great rant! I was watching the Beltway Boys on Fox on Saturday (a show I call "Geezer Load") and their talking point was that Valerie Plame Wilson was a minor level desk-job non-covert lowliest of the low analysts who was completely replaceable and that she is doing this for political reasons. She has no political reasons to be doing this for of course, except that her career was destroyed by these thugs and she'd like a little justice. What was her career worth - I'd say several million at least, or whatever Dick Cheney is worth; either one.

I'm also sick to death of the glorification of 9/11. I have wanted to say "move on" for 5 years now. Can we get past it? Not as long as the Bush administration runs the media. The city that deserves attention for the last year is New Orleans. Manhatten deserves attention as the city that will be completely under water when Bush's failed environmental policies become apparent some time in the next 10 years.
